RP-TNC connectors are medium sized durable RF connectors with a threaded interface for mating. RP-TNC connectors are the reverse polarity version of TNC connectors meaning that the "female jack" with threads on the outside houses the contact pin and the "male plug"
with the threads on the inside houses the receptacle. RP-TNC connectors are commonly used for environmentally harsh conditions such as outdoor applications or circumstances where vibration is present.
